Toddler Tip #1

Washable markers, paper, and a high chair make for a combination of fun your toddler. Especially right before tub time.

Toddler Tip #2

A small container of play-doh at a restaurant can make the time fly while waiting for your food.

Toddler Tip #3

A birdfeeder outside your toddlers bedroom window can provide hours of entertainment. It also can be a calming time since if the child is not quiet and still the birds will fly away.

Toddler Tip #4

A card table and an old sheet can make a wonderful tent. Throw in a child's flashlight (one they can't take apart and swallow) and let the adventures begin.

Toddler Tip #5

Balloons, children love to bat them around, just watch that if they pop you pick up all the pieces. They can be dangerous if swallowed.

Toddler Tip #6

We all know children love to be the star of the show. Let them. Play home videos of themselves or film them making new ones. A whole new meaning to video night.

Toddler Tip #7

Sidewalk chalk, kids love to draw. If the weather is bad and you have a garage suitable, back out the cars and get out of the house for a scenery change.

Toddler Tip #8

Who says egg hunts are only for Easter. Hide some objects and let them find them.

Toddler Tip #9

Refrigerator magnets, while you cook let them create.

Toddler Tip #10

Play dress up, children like to pretend why not give them a dress-up box to make it more realistic.

Toddler Tip #11

Bath time just for fun. Let them take an extra tubby just to play. While you do have to be there to prevent accidents you can take a book or a magazine with you.

Toddler Tip #12

And most important, love and patience, after all they grow up way too fast.
