I know which diaper is better for the environment but which one is actually better for my baby.

I have found Desitin does well when my baby gets diaper rash but what can I do to help prevent her from getting it in the first place.

It is a big battle every time I need to change my son's diaper, he starts to fuss, cry, and scream every time. What could be the problem, and advice for me?

I have pretty much exclusively breastfed my son for the last 6 months. I need to get him switched over to the bottle within the next 6 weeks. I have no choice in the matter.
Any mom's have any tips on how I can make this easier on both of us, but especially him.

I don't think I would be comfortable breastfeeding and I will have to go back to work full time when my baby is about 6 weeks old.
I am catching a little flack and starting to feel guilty for my choice of bottle feeding, is it that bad?

I don't want to forget anything and I want to be ahead of the game and have my house baby proofed before I give birth.
I am doing things that I know won't be necessary yet but I want to make sure they are in place well ahead of time. I have the little plastic things that go in all the electrical outlets. I have locks on drawers and cupboards that contain any cleaners and chemicals.
I don't have any stairs so I don't need to worry about a gate for them. No pets to worry about. What else should I be doing?

My baby is only 3 weeks old right now so I do have a bit of time. But I am trying to get everything baby proofed so when she starts scooting and crawling I am prepared.
I need a gate for some stairs that go down to the basement. I have a gate that I am going to use to block off a hallway that leads to a bathroom and our bedroom but I don't think that type of gate is safe enough for stairs.
What kind of baby gate do I need or what special features make them good for stairways?

If I turn my back for a minute my son is in the bathroom, flushing the toilet, or unrolling the toilet paper.
I have told him no over and over but that doesn't seem to stop him. I don't feel spanking is the right answer in this case but he does need to learn to mind and know his limits. any ideas?
