At what age should you take your kids to the dentist for the 1st time?

My 2 year old seems to have pretty healthy teeth and I don't think we have any dental problems but I am wondering at what age I should schedule his first dental visit just for a check-up?

I would take him in soon, it is better to have a few good visits with the dentist under your belt before he has to have any work done.
