Trucker Hats?

It seems like all of my daughters friends are into trucker hats, how did they become so popular? When I ask her she just says all the kids are wearing them. But this trend had to start somewhere.

I think Hollywood started the trend and then all the teens rushed out to buy them. Hollywood seems to start a lot of the fashion trends that teens seem to follow.
