Wine Basket

Provided by: Jorbins.com

I usually give out a few wine gift baskets each year to business acquaintances, wine lovers, an to people I don't know very well but believe a gift is necessary. There are times when we are invited to holiday parties and a gift is appropriate and this is not only easy to make up but can be quite elegant.

If you need a wine gift basket for a wine lover. Try to find what kind of wine they enjoy the most. Whether it is a cabernet or chardonnay. I like to put wine that they may never tried before in my wine gift baskets. Most of the time wine lovers will already have a corkscrew and plenty of wine glasses so unless I know they need one or see something that really catches my eye I don't include this in their baskets.

Depending on the type of wine I have chosen I include some crackers and cheese or fruit. If I have chosen a dessert wine I may include some sweets of some sort. I also try to find a unique basket of some sort and add a pretty ribbon to it.

I have given wine gift baskets and used a picnic basket as the "gift basket". I add a couple of wine glasses, a corkscrew, some cloth napkins and a tablecloth to complete it.

Many people give bottles of wine as gifts around the holidays. I just like to dress mine up a bit by placing it in a basket with a few other items. To me it seems more personable and festive than a bottle of wine with a bow on it.

Whatever you choose to do for your wine gift baskets if you give it a little thought and research you will give a gift that is enjoyed and appreciated.

Cheers!!!
