Gift for a dog or cat owner

I gave her a hand made gift certificate for pet sitting. They like to go on weekend jaunts once in awhile and are always scrambling to get the dogs to a kennel. I told them I would be glad to keep them at my house.
If you can't keep them at your own house you could always go care for them and spend some time with them while the owners are away.
