1. Make that cheeseburger a hamburger.
  2. Put mustard on your sandwich instead of mayo.
  3. When you can substitute ground turkey instead of ground beef.  Chili and many casseroles are perfect for this tip.
  4. Use fat free yogurt on your baked potato instead of sour cream.
  5. Switch to non fat margarine as opposed to regular margarine.
  6. If you normally drink whole milk switch to 2%, normally 2% switch to 1% or skim.
  7. Use a butter spray anytime you can get away with it instead of butter or margarine.  One example would be cooking eggs and another would be using a little spray before you put jelly on your toast, you won't even miss the butter or margarine.
  8. Order filet mignon instead of prime rib or rib eye.
  9. Choose the thinnest crust possible when ordering pizza.
  10. Instead of ordering extra cheese on things, try a sprinkling of parmesan.
  11. When making an omelet don't use the yolks, or at least use 3 egg whites to one yolk.
  12. Switch to 8 ounce tortillas as opposed to 10 inch ones.
  13. When there is a choice choose clear soups instead of cream based ones.
  14. Use tuna packed in water instead of oil.
  15. When baking substitute 1/2 of the margarine with applesauce.
  16. Use light pancake syrup instead of regular.
  17. Eat baked chips instead of regular.
