Ginger Snaps Recipe

When it comes to ginger snaps recipes I think I have found the best recipe ever. I haven't tasted any other ginger snap cookies that can compare to these.

How To Make:

Ingredients:

3/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup molasses
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon ginger
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 egg (beaten)
2 teaspoons soda

Directions:

Cream your sugar and shortening together then add your molasses and egg. Beat well and add your sifted dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.

Roll into small balls and dip into sugar. Place them 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes.
