Hamburger Soup Recipe

Provided by: Robin Reckard

I am always looking for good soup recipes that I can use for supper ideas in the winter. My whole family likes this hamburger soup. I often serve it with a side salad and fresh rolls.

How To Make:

Ingredients:

1 1/2 pounds of hamburger
3 cups water
1 tsp kitchen bouquet (add it to your water)
3 med carrots
1 cup celery
2 large potatoes
1 cup onion
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 to 1/4 teaspoon of sweet basil
1 can tomato juice (about 12 ounces)
1 bay leaf

Directions:

Brown and drain your hamburger. Then add it and all the other ingredients into a big pot. Cook it until the carrots and potatoes are done. Remove the bay leaf and serve it up.
