I used to think ranch dressing was a dressing, therefore used on salads. Anymore it is the condiment of the millennium. Everyone seems to be using ranch dressing on everything. It's like ketchup is being replaced as the condiment of choice!
How To Make:
Ingredients:
- 1 clove garlic, peeled
- 2 to 3 pinches of kosher salt
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 2 to 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh cilantro
- 1 tablespoon snipped fresh chives
- 1/2 cup of sour cream
- kosher salt
- black pepper
Mash together the garlic cloves and salt until a paste is formed. Remove to a small bowl or a jar with a tight fitting lid. Add and whisk together buttermilk, lime juice, cilantro and chives until well blended.
Stir in sour cream. Taste and adjust the seasonings with salt and pepper. Use immediately or cover and refrigerate.
