I found this recipe for peanut butter chocolate cake and peanut butter frosting a few years back and thought it looked like it might be quite good. I took it to a Christmas dinner and it was quickly gone, I have since made it several times and the family has enjoyed it.
In a large mixing bowl combine the dry ingredients then add the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Beat for 2 minutes and then stir in the coffee. Bake in a greased 9 x 13 pan and bake at 350 for 35 - 45 minutes. Cool completely on a wire rack and when cool frost with the peanut butter frosting.
Beat cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth. Beat in sugar, milk, and vanilla. Spread over cooled cake and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Store in the refrigerator.
