I know I have had them and I even think my grandma used to bake them. Does anyone have a recipe for lemon cookies? I remember them being crisp and tangy but I cannot find a recipe for them anywhere.
We call these lemon snowballs and they are really really good.
2 sticks margarine
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
2 cup flour
To coat them you will also need:
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoons lemonade unsweetened drink mix powder - I use Koolaid
(combine these together in a bowl and have it ready for when the cookies come out of the oven)
Cream everything together and then add the flour and mix well.
Roll into 1" balls and bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for about 15 minutes or so at 350. They don't get brown so don't over cook them!!
While cookies are still warm, put them in the lemon powdered sugar mixture and gently coat them.
Let them cool and enjoy!!!
My daughter and I enjoy baking and she really likes to make peanut butter cookies. This is the peanut butter cookie recipe that we have found that makes the best tasting.

One of my family's favorite chocolate cookie recipes is one called chocolate crinkles. It is one of those cookie recipes that we always double because they don't spend much time in the cookie jar.

I am looking for tried and tested chocolate cookie recipes that I can add walnuts to. I would prefer they not have to be refrigerated before baking, but if the cookies taste good enough then it would be worth it!! Can anyone share their's with me?

I am sure my grandmother used to freeze chocolate chip cookies. Basically can I freeze any kind of cookie for a few months and them still be good? I realized they won't be quite as good as fresh from oven but they have to be better than store bought ones. Don't they?
