I am looking for different recipes to serve vegetables to my family. Would like to find some new ones that I can have made ahead of time and in the fridge and that use dressings full of flavor but not full of fat? We really like most vegetables and flavors but I am just not a creative cook, I need a recipe in front of me, anyone have some to share?
How about trying this corn and pea salad recipe?
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1 can peas
1 can corn
1 small chopped green bell pepper
1 small chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
Salt and pepper to taste ( a teaspoon or so of each)
Boil the vegetable oil, sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper. After it cools off pour it over the vegetables and let it sit overnight. Serve the next day!
Sally I tried your salad and it was really really good.

The name of this salad recipe doesn't do it justice. This is my absolute favorite cream cheese salad recipe. The combination of ingredients makes this both flavorful and unique.
If you need a quick vegetable side dish to take somewhere or if you are just looking for something different to serve at home then this cauliflower one is very good and quite quick to make.
Well my recipe card says blueberry dessert, but when I make this I make it as a blueberry salad. But I guess you could consider it either one.
This fruity salad recipe is great for family get-togethers. This recipe for frog eye salad makes a lot of salad, so be sure you have a big bowl.
