I want to grow some carrots in a container in the backyard what varieties should I consider or is it a hopeless cause?
Good question, but it really depends on the variety of carrots you chose to grow. As long as you container has enough depth you will be able to grow any variety of carrot. Just allow at least an additional 6'' in depth for the maxium length of the variety you choose I've always been a fan of the denver or tendersweets experiment with different varieties. Good luck
Super, I will start measuring and then check out those carrot varieties to see if they will work.
