Radishes

I have planted radishes before and I always thought they got hotter because it was getting too hot outside, my mother-in-law says it is because I didn't water them enough, which one of us is right?

They can get real hot if they don't have lots of water and the temperature gets hot outside. You can always plant them in a partial shade area if the radishes get too hot on you.
