I was reading a tips page and it said to use peanut butter dough and you can soon have bluebirds into your backyard. Great, but I have no idea what it is or what to do with it when I find out. Anyone know? Or have any other ideas on how we can attract some bluebirds into our yard?
I saw your post and was curious so I did some research.
I saw two versions of the dough and I also read that a bluebird will really like it. Each calls for 1/2 cup of peanut butter and either 2 cups of uncooked cornmeal or 2 cups of rolled oats.
Glad you posted your quesion. I am going to try that this year.
To attract bluebirds you can also chop up some fruit and put it on a platform feeder.
