Cardinals in my yard

I have seen a few cardinals, not often, but on occasion they will stop by my yard. What can I do to keep them around longer and for the cardinals to come around more often?

I have often wondered how to keep them around as well. We have a couple that have been around for a year or so and I would love to do something to make sure they stick around.
