If I want to grow beans to eat fresh which taste better Romano or Blue Lake?
In my opinion Romano is the best, I would definitely go with that one.
Which kinds of beans are you going to plant this year? Some gardeners prefer bush others pole, I have even planted both in the same year but here is why I prefer the bush varieties.

Do I just put a stake in the ground by my bean plants for them to climb on? How tall and large should the stakes be?
