If someone out there knows what causes radishes to become hot would you please let me know. I have planted them often and they are usually hot when it is time to eat them. I buy them at the store and they are usually not hot. Thanks

I like the taste of both of the radish varieties and of course they are easy to grow but I wonder does anyone know of a variety that tolerates warm wetter better?

I was reading about daikons, which are Japanese radishes and I wondered what they tasted like, the article didn't mention that. Anyone tried them, and if so where they good?

My radishes are way past harvesting time but when you pull them up there are only very long roots. They get plenty of sun and water but this summer has been very hot in Kentucky. Where are my pretty round red radishes?

I have planted radishes before and I always thought they got hotter because it was getting too hot outside, my mother-in-law says it is because I didn't water them enough, which one of us is right?
