This is my first year at growing an outdoor garden. My cucumbers are big and fat and not long and slinder. What did I do wrong? They are about six inches long and maybe 4 or 5 inches round. Taste good, but don't look like cucumbers. Can I still pickle them that big?

I've always planted Roma tomatoes to use for canning. I'd like to try a different tomato variety that may be even more meaty, any ideas?

I am considering either staking or caging but have heard trellising works as well and looks nicer.

How do I get rid of tomato caterpillars? I pick them off when I find them but would love for them to not show up in the first place.
