Decorative pillows can give so much life to a boring, lifeless bedroom. If your bed consists of two sleeping pillows and a duvet, then updating it with a decorative pillow or two or more will make a considerable improvement. But don't just settle with two decorator pillows, the more you have, the richer, and more dramatic your bed will appear, and this is exactly what you want, after all your bed is your room's focal point.
Layering different shapes, colors, and textures of pillows on your bed can make it look rich and luxurious. Choose colors that match with your bedroom's overall color scheme, and you will see how the addition of a few vibrant pillows can give so much character to your otherwise boring room.
Decorator pillows come in an abundance of materials, shapes, patterns, and colors. Layering your pillows on your bed in an eye-catching arrangement makes a big difference in the overall presentation. Let me give you an idea of how you could layer the pillows on your bed. Pillow shams, which are often included with a comforter set, are usually stuffed with big, fluffy pillows, and rest against your headboard. In front of those pillows, you may want to throw on two to four slightly smaller square or round pillows of a different color or pattern. For the third layer, a couple of roll pillows with one or two other small pillows will finish your bed quite nicely.
Sky is the limit when it comes to decorating your bed with pillows. If three layers isn't enough, then try four or five, it's a personal choice. You can have as much or as little as you like, after all, it is your room. Remember, you don't have to be an interior designer to make your bedroom look like a sanctuary. All you need is a bed-in-a-bag comforter set, matching curtains, and some fancy decorator pillows and your room can look spectacular too!!

The trend in the designing of new homes and remodeling projects today is to surround the occupant in comfort and convenience. This is no more evident than in the master suite. The master suite is the place where the homeowner can design an oasis of comfort and luxury.
You may have spent generous amounts of time and money decorating the "public" spaces in your home. Living rooms, great rooms, kitchens and powder rooms are often considered top priorities because these are the spaces most commonly inhabited by guests. However, it is even more important to consider the design and decor of your bedroom.
To tell you the truth, I never did sleep well in my bedroom. I never cared for the decor or even cared for the atmosphere...
You'll probably agree that a bedroom is not JUST a place to sleep. It's more of a warm sanctuary if you will. It's a place of tranquility, peace, relaxation, comfort, stability, and security where you can go to release everything about your day, regenerate, and welcome a new day.
When your bedroom decor does not reflect such an atmosphere you may be in for some unnecessary sleepless nights. But, there is hope through simplicity!
