Upright vs. Chest Freezers

I am looking to purchase a new freezer I after some looking around there are chest and upright models. I have never owned either before so I am totally clueless as to which would be best.

I would really like to know he pros and cons of each type of freezer and even experiences others have had with them. It sure would help out alot.
