I have a lot of cabinets and really don't need all the storage. I have been considering differents wine cabinet. Is it feasible to have an under the counter one installed or would I be smarter going with a free standing one?
I would think it would cost much more to have a place for wine installed under the counter. I guess it depends on how much room you have in your kitchen for a free standing one as opposed to extra storage.
Most people never seem to have enough cabinet space so I would make sure (if you are going to want to sell your house ever) that you are not creating a storage problem that could affect the resale value of your home. Even though you don't use all your kitchen cabinets potential buyers may prefer the extra storage.

There is no doubt that these days the hub of the home is the kitchen. It is the place we gather to spend time with family and friends. Many of us do our main entertaining in an open floor plan that has a kitchen/family-room combination. As a result, the kitchen has become the most difficult room in the house to keep clean. Our usual organizational challenges of overflowing cabinets and exploding junk drawers are compounded by mail, toys, clothes and all sorts of clutter. If your kitchen could use some help getting organized, try this recipe for organizational success.
If you haven't checked out kitchen appliance garages and seen for yourself how they can easily keep your kitchen more organized, cleaner, and still have all your appliances and gadgets ready at a moments notice you are missing out.
