Mine smells what is the best way to clean it?
They have something I buy at walmart called Disposer Care, it works great. You just put it in garbage disposals once a month.
Don't use bleach!! I think I ruined mine by doing that.
Make sure you take off the rubber cover that is on your sink. If you can't take if off get a brush and scrub the junk off underneath it.
I cut a lemon in half and put it and some baking soda down the disposal every once in awhile. Makes it smell good.
Yeah lemon peels and baking soda works good for getting rid of that smell. What works even better is orange peels. That is how I clean our garbage disposal.
Try putting two cups of ice and rock salt in the disposer. Then use orange peels. Works better than anything else I have used.

I am not real handy, the garbage disposal just quit working and we need a new one. Is this something I should be able to do by myself?
