Solid Surface Corian Countertops
I hate the expense but I am thinking it probably is worth every penny to have corian counters in my kitchen. I haven't yet found another solid surface that impresses me as much. Any thoughts?
I am sold as well. I love the look of my inline sink and the corian countertop together. It just looks classy. I love to cook and I wouldn't trade my countertops for anything.
I hate to admit it but I was against corian countertops but my wife won the argument. I am glad she did. We get a lot of compliments on our kitchen, in particular the countertops. It was worth it. I like the way there is no seam in the backsplash. Granted we had cheap countertops before but I hated the way the backsplash looked with them in our old house.
I don't cook often but when i do putter around in the kitchen the corian countertops are easy to clean up and take a bit of abuse. Ours look just as good today as they did when we had them installed a couple years ago

I can't see why anyone would choose garnite countertops over quartz. I guess they are actually called engineered quartz but who cares really. This surface seems way superior to me when it comes to counters, especially in the kitchen.

How does it compare to granite or quartz products in terms of useage?

Just thought I would share this with everyone, most people probably say duh, of course it is easier to do the backsplash after it is installed. But in case anyone is trying to remodel their kitchen on their own without much experience I thought I would share this.

Maybe I am missing something but to me these would not be a wise remodeling choice, especially in the kitchen. They stain easy and require so much care that I would think it would be a bad decision. Can anyone fill me in on why it is a good choice for the kitchen?
