Just wanted to chime in here about sink size.
Recently my wife and I installed a one in the kitchen as one of our many do-it-yourelf projects. (We like to call them mess-it-up yourself projects.) Anyway, when we were looking around for the best one we mainly concentrated on features and materials. We never really thought about the shear size of the thing.
Our kitchen is relatively small but like most the focal point of the room is the sink area. What happened is that we chose a one that is way too big for the room. It just looks massive and overbearing.
Although we do like how it functions it just destroyed the look of the kitchen even though the style matched the room.
Just keep this in mind when you are looking to install a sink.
Since I am no expert (obviously) it would be nice if anyone who has experience with kitchen decor to maybe help offer some tips and tricks on choosing the right size. Maybe this would help others from making the same mistake as we have.

Fresh water is essential to our health and comfort. Not only do we rely on it to stay hydrated, we use it in many other ways including bathing, cleaning and cooking food, and laundering our clothes. Fresh water has long been a concern of both public communities and private individuals, and several different water purification systems and treatment technologies have been developed to help ensure that tap water is safe for human consumption. But how do these different technologies compare?
When it comes to home water filters and water purifiers, consumers have many choices. You can choose from leading name brands such as Brita, Culligan, PUR, and Braun. You can go with counter top water filters, under the sink models, or whole house water filters. You can pick from systems that use carbon filters, reverse osmosis water filters, and ultraviolet (UV) light technology. It's great to have so many options, but how do you know which home water purifier is right for you?
