Catnip sprays are rarely strong enough to entice cats.

Catnip is not addictive and is totally safe for cats to smell, eat, or play in.

Kittens under 6 months of age do not respond to catnip.

Plain catnip can be sprinkled on carpet or a towel placed on the carpet. Even though we can't see or smell it your cat will be able to.

Some cats become overly aggressive and others become sedated when exposed to catnip. You will have to test to see your cats reaction.

When purchasing catnip toys you may want to consider those that are refillable.

A fun catnip game for your cat would be to turn a cardboard box upside down and cut a small hole in the side (like a mouse hole. Then place a catnip mouse inside the box by the hole and see your cat try to swipe at it.
