I am teaching my young son animal noises and we see deer at a local park a lot and I have never heard them make a noise. He wants to know their sound and I don't have a clue, help me out here someone.

Yes, female deer make what is called a "bleet" and male deer "roar." Most people would compare the bleet to a sheep's "bah" noise but it is a little more coarse and not as choppy with breaks in the extended noise.
