Kayaking In Connecticut

We took a moonlit kayaking excursion the last time we were in Stony Creek Connecticut that went through the Thimble Islands. It was a good time for the whole family and we will do it again sometime.

We came across a wildlife sanctuary in Goshen that was very intersting, the whole family was interested in it.

the kids liked the safari drive thru the best.

I took my grandkids to the Danbury Railway Museum and we all had a pleasant day. I especially enjoyed sharing my memories with another generation, and it was a bonus that they were interested in it too.

It made the things in my past come to life for them, since they could see what I was talking about.

We took a hike at the Ansonia Nature and Recreation Center (in Connecticut) and really enjoyed it. We especially liked the butterfly and hummingbird garden there.

We surprised the kids and stopped for a day at the Lake Compounce Theme Park. The kids loved the rides and the water park area.

The Bushell Center for the Performing Arts located in Hartford Connecticut always has wonderful events and show. Whatever your taste broadway, opera, dance, or symphony they is always some good entertainment available.
