Norwalk Harbor

We went to the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk and were very impressed. They have a touch tank were you can touch crabs, snails, and starfish. We loved the touch pool - the kids were so excited to touch real live (little) sharks.

The seals, otters, and big aquariums were fun too. We all enjoyed a boad ride on Long Island Sound. They scooped up marine life and then explained all about it. For our kids who haven't a lot of ocean experience ti kept them very interested.

And while we've been to Imax theaters before we took this in as well. We always enjoy IMAX movies.

The aquarium is very nice but if you ever go back to Norwalk you need to go to the Stepping Stone Museum for Children. It is out of this world, it is the best children's museum that I have ever been to and a blast for the whole family.

I recently got back from Connecticut when I was on vacation and we had a great time. I agree with you both if you are on a family vacation in Connecticut you have to stop at Norwalk Harbor.

My family is planning their next Connecticut trip and everyone wants to go back.
