We enjoyed our whole trip through the St. Louis Zoo but my kids (even my bug hating daughter) were really taken with the insectarium.
We spent a lot of time there learning about, of all things, bugs. It gives bug eye view a whole different meaning.
So next time you are in St. Louis and going to hit the zoo be sure to save some extra time for the insectarium, I was glad we had plenty of time for the children to really enjoy it.

I guess Fantastic Caverns is America's only ride through cave tour, but regardless of that we really enjoyed it.
We didn't even know about it but as we were following Route 66 we saw it and decided to stop.
It was quite interesting as we followed the underground river and saw and heard about the cave.

The kids were the ones that thought this was a show we should go see and they were right. We were amazed by the tumbling those acrobats can do.
The whole show was just incredible and kept us all entertained. They really know how to put on a show and entertain a crowd.
If you are in Branson Missouri and get the chance this is a show you should go see.

The whole family enjoyed the Fish and Wildlife Museum, (it was in Springfield Missouri) we were fasciinated with the huge salt water aquarium. We spent a lot of time watching and enjoying the close up look of all the different fish.
We also were quite taken with the beavers and otters, watching their fun antics was really a good time.

Holy cow, it you like to fish, hunt, camp, or do basically anything outdoors then you just have to stop at Outdoor World. The Bass Pro Shops have created a paradise for people who love doing outdoor activities.
About any kind of equipment you want they have it, I am an avid fisherman and I felt like a kid in a candy store. I had heard it was nice but wow it was awesome.
The kids had fun too while I was doing my looking, they had wildlife displays and several aquariums that they enjoyed.
Great stop to make if you are anywhere near Springfield Missouri.

We stopped in Hannibal on our vacation to Missouri and really enjoyed the stop. It was fun seeing things that we had read about in Mark Twain's books.
The kids especially enjoyed Mark Twain Cave it really brought Tom Sawyer to life for them. Seeing things they had read about was fascinating for them.
One tip take a jacket and don't wear shorts when you tour the cave, it is a bit chilly but worth it.

I am hoping to be able to go someday soon and would like to hear from someone who has already been there what it is like.
Do you get to go all the way to the top? Basically anything about the Arch would be helpful to know.

We went to Missouri and stayed at a resort called the Tan-Tar-A resort and we were really impressed.
My husband and brother in law spent time golfing and said they were some of the best golf courses they had been to.
My sister and our kids loved the indoor water park, it was incredible and we all had a blast. They also spent quite a bit of time at Bear's Den Arcade.
We all went fishing and horseback riding while we were there too. It was a fun trip for all and we loved the beauty of the ozarks and truly enjoyed the Lake of the Ozarks. We hope to go back again someday soon and try our hand at parasailing. It looked lots of fun.

I would love to hear from people who have been to Missouri's Silver Dollar City. I have seem brochures and pamphlets but would like to hear from people who have been there and what it is like and what we should take in while we are there. Any special rides or shows that we should make time for?
Any information at all will be appreciated and helpful.
