Comfortable Flower Girl Dresses?

My future sister in law has asked me to make sure whatever dress I pick out for her daughter to wear as the flower girl in my wedding is comfortable. Help, I don't know exactly what to look for to do this. I don't have children or nieces of my own so I really am unsure about this and I hate to sound stupid and ask her.
