Prizes for the games

I always thought that when you win a game at a shower you give the prize to the new bride. Is that old school now? I went to a shower recently and no one gave the prizes away, I was glad I didn't win anything.

I am going to host a shower for my best friend soon and I want her to get all the prizes, how do I tactfully do this?

I don't know if you really can do it that way. More and more the prizes seem to go to who won. What you can do though is buy two of every prize and give one to the bride at the same time as you give the one to the game winner.
